Meet Rachel + Cody!
Rachel + Cody have a story that rings with fate. These two met at a wrestling tournament 4 years ago in Oklahoma City, over 1000 miles from home for each of them. Soon after meeting, they discovered that they both lived in close proximity to each other. (Seriously, what are the odds?!?!) After returning home, they went on their first official date which was a hike through the BU trails in Vestal, NY.
We really wanted to re-create that first date with their engagement pictures but upstate NY this season has been a brutal one in terms of rain and where there’s rain, there is SO much mud. We gave it a shot but there was no way we could hike the trail without being covered in muck. We stuck to a cute nearby park and it was perfect! The fall colors were just starting to coming out and it gave Rachel and Cody’s pictures some very pretty color. 
After being together for three years, Rachel and Cody bought a house together. They decided to throw a house warming party and Cody made plans to not only host the party with his significant other, but to ask her to be his wife. 
Just before the party, Rachel returned home to find little notes all over the house which eventually led her to their new bedroom. There she found Cody and he proposed.
Rachel and Cody are getting married September 21st of next year at the Windham Mountain Resort in Windham, NY. We can’t wait to photograph their wedding!
