Jessica + Norm’s wedding couldn’t have been more perfect, even with the rain. We had so much fun shooting this wedding and I’m so excited to share these with all of you.
The day began with Jessica getting ready at the Holiday Inn in Binghamton and Norm getting ready at their home.
Sometimes my brides can get really serious during the getting ready process. They’re nervous and anxious and need some extra coaxing and deep breaths to get through their nerve ridden morning. But that’s not this bridal party. These guys were so much fun and if there were nerves, they weren’t noticeable. Norm all ready for the first look! (Pictures of the guys taken by my fantastic second shooter, Brittni.)When Jessica told me she wanted pictures of the flower girl in her wedding dress, I thought this was the BEST IDEA EVER! And it was. Lisa is so stinkin’ funny. She laughs at everything and is such a little ray of sunshine. Jessica told her that in 20 years she’s going to give her these photos and it’s going to be so special. I can’t get over the cuteness.
I love the matching shirts. Every bridal party needs this shot.
So beautiful!
The first look took place at the Court House right in the city of Binghamton. I love shooting here, especially on rainy days. It’s a great place for a first look too.
A HUGE shoutout to this amazing bridal party. These guys were so great to work with. Not only was it a rainy day, but it was a COLD rainy day. The women especially (and the girls!) were frozen through and they happily stuck it out so we could get some memorable shots of everyone. This is one of my most favorite pictures. Candids always are. This picture was taken on our way for a quick break at Tesorina Boutique. (GUYS. This place is amazing. It’s a chic clothing shop and literally everything they have, I would wear. I can’t wait to go back.)Jessica + Norm were married at the McKinley in Endicott, NY. This ceremony had me cracking up and tearing up simultaneously. Honestly, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place. I had all the feels when Jessica + Norm read their vows to one another. They were so beautifully written and heart felt. The love these two have for each other is unreal. This cake was made by Baked by Camille. Such a gorgeous job!
Candy bars are always my favorite at weddings.First dance as husband and wife.
Jessica + Norm: Thank you so much for inviting me to photograph your wedding. Being able to capture these moments for you is truly an honor and seeing the bond you two have and how big your love is, is so special. You guys have the kind of love that movies and classic romance novels are based on. I wish you both the happiest and most blessed of marriages!
I want to give lots of love to the fellow vendors who made Jessica and Norm’s wedding day so wonderful. Team work is so important when it comes to making sure everything is seamless and these amazing souls were awesome. I highly recommend each and every one of them!
