As fall draws nearer and our nights turn cooler my feed would normally start to turn into a plethora of pumpkin and red and yellow leaf back drops. However, the majority of my weddings for this fall have rescheduled or canceled all together due to covid and I’m left reminiscing over last years fall weddings. I wanted to share one of my most favorite with you as Brianna + Patrick had a stunning fall wedding that began and ended at the gorgeous Traditions at the Glen in Johnson city, NY. Traditions at the Glen is one of my most favorite venues in this area. Their rooms are beautiful and the picture opportunities are endless. You can’t beat a good pair of Manolo Blahniks. I’m in love with these shoes.Meet our beautiful bride, Brianna. Brianna lights up a room. Not only is she a stunningly beautiful woman but she radiates kindness and the kind of energy that causes others to flock to her. She made us feel right at home and I loved capturing her joy through out the day. Her bridesmaids were awesome too. They were so much fun!And seriously, what a group of gorgeous women! Before everyone started to get ready, they partook in a group prayer. This was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever captured. Brianna wasn’t the only one who cried. I had tears streaming down my face while snapping these pictures. What is it that’s so captivating and touching about prayer? It was like God was in the room with us and I felt him shower love over all of us. I’m not sure I’ve ever been a part of something that felt more blessed than this moment right here.Brianna bought this dress from Casa Bianca Bridal in Littleton Colorado. I love the boatneck top to this dress. The back to this dress is just as gorgeous. Brianna & Patrick chose not to do a first look. They kept things traditional and saw each other for the first time while Brianna made her way down the aisle at St. Pat’s in Binghamton, NY. I’ve been to this church many times in the past and it is always a pleasure creating here.
First kiss as husband and wife! Brianna + Patrick’s ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. There’s something about a set of bagpipes that sends goosebumps right up my arms. Especially when it echoes off the ceiling of grand old church’s like St. Pats. And then my most favorite part of the day! Some of their close family and friends accompanied us to the park where they did a toast before we commenced with our portraits.
I love those fall colors!Traditions is a gorgeous place for wedding portraits. Especially in the fall. Traditions at the Glen has views for days. This bouquet was created by Hillside Flower girls. They do a lot of bouquet’s and flower arrangements for my weddings. They do an amazing job! Traditions always does a spectacular job with their dining room. I love that Brianna + Patrick chose little pumpkins to accent their plates. This cake was made by Gabriella’s cakes. YUM.Candy apples from The Cider Mill in Endicott, NY. (If you haven’t been to the cider mill, you MUST go!)
I really loved this idea too! Instead of little place cards, they chose to put name cards on individual champagne flutes. Love, love, love this!Instead of flip flops, ballerina slippers are a great alternative to reception shoes for those who can’t bear heels the whole night through.I loved every second of shooting Brianna + Patricks wedding. A huge shout out to my fellow vendors for being so wonderful and helping to make their day so special.
