Paige + Conrad had a gorgeous wedding ceremony at The Roberson Museum with a reception at one of our favorite venues, The Terracotta. (Honestly, BOTH of these places are some of our favorite places to shoot!)
We started the day off at The Holiday Inn with getting ready pictures.
This is the “after party” dress. I love this idea. Why have one dress when you can have two?
When Paige told me the story of her wedding gown, I was super pumped to see it in person. Her gown was a gift from her hair dresser who collects vintage gowns. This particular gown is from the 1950’s and was featured in a newspaper ad which we’re still trying to get our hands on! Paige said that when she tried this dress on, it fit perfectly. I love the lace and how unique it is. Paige’s parents had gifts for her before the wedding.
Her God Mother brought something special too.
One of the most exciting parts of the day! Getting into the wedding dress.
The sleeves on this dress are absolutely gorgeous.
While I was with Paige, my second shooter Mary was with Conrad.
Since guys take about 5 minutes to get ready, they had some time to kill before the first look. Things got weird, and I’m so glad that they did. You can tell these guys share a special friendship.
The first look was one for the books. The Roberson museum is a beautiful backdrop for seeing your wife/husband to be the day of.
The sexiest photo, EVER. I’m in love with this shot!
After the first look, we took some pictures around the Roberson. These are some of my top favorites! What did I tell ya? Straight up bromance.
The ceremony took place on the grand staircase. I’ve always loved this part of the Roberson Mansion.
Paige + Conrad had a few unique twists to their day. This one was my most favorite. Instead of reading their vows to each other in front of everyone, they waited to do it quietly and only with each other.
Groom cakes need to be more of a thing! Check out Conrad’s sweet hulk cake!First dance as husband and wife. A huge thanks to the DJ, Scott, who helped wrangle this crowd onto the dance floor for a group shot!
A very special thanks to all the vendors who helped make this day so fantastic!
