Brittany + Evan
This wedding day was absolutely sweltering but I couldn’t be happier that we had a gorgeous, sunny day. FINALLY! This was my first time at the Barn at Glistening Pond and I fell in love the moment I came onto the property.

The Barn at Glistening Pond is a stunning wedding venue located in Falls, Pennsylvania, nestled on 200+ acres of picturesque landscape with breathtaking views. This family-owned property offers a rustic yet elegant setting, featuring a beautifully restored barn with 30-foot vaulted ceilings, a spacious wraparound deck overlooking the tranquil pond, and an outdoor stone fireplace for cozy gatherings. With seating for up to 200 guests, climate-controlled facilities, and a charming ceremony barn available for use, the venue provides the perfect blend of charm and modern convenience. Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or an intimate event, The Barn at Glistening Pond delivers a timeless and unforgettable experience.
There’s plenty of space for both the bride and groom to get married onsite with the bridal suite boasting a large open floor plan with a kitchen and a seating area with great lighting for hair and makeup.

Brittany and Evan didn’t do a first look but Brittany wanted to do one with her dad. Grab your tissues!

The Barn at Glistening Pond has a rustic red barn perfect for wedding ceremonies. This is perfect on days when it’s sweltering or when it’s raining. There’s no plan B necessary here and guests will be grateful to be out of the elements. Even though Brittany and Evan’s wedding was on a sweltering day, there was a nice cross breeze coming through the barn that smelled like fresh grass and flowers.

Brittany and Evan’s wedding party was so much fun. I can only imagine how hot everyone was, especially the guys wearing pants and long sleeved shirts but I didn’t hear one complaint. Everyone was down for fun bridal party photos and we were able to find some shade on the property in the form of a willow tree.

I don’t think anyone was sad to go back into the air conditioning. The barn was not only nice and cool but decorated to the nines. I always talk to clients about doing uplighting at their reception. This is normally something that experienced DJ’s offer and it makes ALL the difference when it comes to a darker reception venue. I love the pops of purple in their photos, especially since it matches their wedding theme colors. (I highly recommend never doing orange uplight in a barn unless looking orange is important to you.)

A super cute wedding trend is to get table shots with all of your guests. This really only works if you correlate with the DJ and they can get everyone organized. The DJ announces that everyone needs to stay at their seats and then we run to each table over the course of a song or two to capture the shots with guests. It only takes a few minutes and it’s a sweet keepsake for everyone who attends.

I had so much fun at The Barn at Glistening Ponds! I highly recommend this wedding venue if you’re planning your own wedding and I’m sure Brittany and Evan would agree. Make sure you check out all of these vendors who helped make the day so wonderful!
