Welcome to Hallie + Connor’s gorgeous Catskills wedding at Estates by Brophy. This was my first time shooting at this wedding venue and I was so pumped to explore and do something new. This property is expansive with gorgeous views and has separate places for the bride and groom to get ready.
I want to give a huge shoutout to Primitive Posies for gifting me the most GORGEOUS flatlay flowers. I had so much fun doing detail shots for this wedding.
When I saw Hallie drinking a Redbull before her ceremony I literally was like “DANG GIRL! You must have nerves of steel.” It turns out Hallie did not have nerves of steel and her ceremony pictures were epic but I adore her even more for leaning into the emotion of such a special day.
Look at her gorgeous mama. I LOVE that blue dress!
The owner of Estates by Brophy has her wedding portrait hanging in the master suite and it was only right Hallie had her picture taken with her. I also LOVE the armoire. It looks like it came straight out of Beauty and the Beast.
The ceremony took place near the river which was just a short walk from the main property. Primitive Posies did an amazing job decorating. It was a rainy fall day but warm and luckily we had no torrential downpours during this wedding.
I loved the pictures I got of Connor gesturing to Hallie to breathe while she made her way down the wedding aisle flanked by both of her parents. Hallie was obviously overcome with emotion and we didn’t get one picture where she wasn’t caught up in how overwhelming a wedding ceremony can be. But that’s what it’s all about, right? Getting caught up in the day and feeling all the feels. Even crying down the aisle, I still think Hallie is one of the most beautiful Catskills brides I ever saw. Once Hallie was by Connor’s side, she was back to her smiling self and the ceremony unwound beautifully.
After an epic walk down the aisle we went right into wedding party portraits. This property was SO gorgeous and there were so many spots for photos. The woods were absolutely stunning and though we all would have been happier if October had been more Octoberish, there were parts of the forest that I just couldn’t resist, even with the greens still being so green.
The reception space was perfectly decorated for a fall wedding from the little pumpkins, the mini baked goods and leafy decorations.
After some well done speeches, Hallie snuck away to change into her reception outfit for the night. Who doesn’t want to wear a sparkly jumpsuit and shock their wedding guests with a choreographed, fast paced first dance?
I’m so grateful I could be a part of Hallie + Connor’s Catskills destination wedding. I loved working with this couple so much and had a wonderful time at Estates by Brophy.
A huge thank you to all of these vendors for helping to make the day so special!
