Welcome to Lindsey + Johnathan’s gorgeous lifestyle portrait session!
This is one of the coolest “engagement” sessions I think I’ve ever done. When Lindsey told me that she’d rather do a lifestyle session in their home my interest was piqued. When she told me they had remodeled an old fire station in the Fingerlakes area and then sent me pictures I was PUMPED. They have obviously put so much hard work and love into this place and it shows in every corner. Johnathan showed me some pictures of what this place looked like before and if it wasn’t for the big metal beams running through the place, you’d never know it was the same space. I went home after this shoot and gave my husband the “We need to remodel the entire house look” which he answered with a good roll of the eyes and an “Okkkkkkk”. I have plans.
I thought this was such a special way to not only celebrate their remodeled home but their upcoming wedding at the Fontainbleau Inn in Alpine, NY. I’ll be blogging that soon as well because, holy smokes, that place is truly incredible.

It was so hard picking out my top favorites from this shoot. I was only there an hour but I took a bajillion photos and left so inspired and ready to edit.
