Kathryn and Dominic were married on private property in Harpersville, NY which has been lovingly named Mountain View Gardens. I always love private venues because they’re unique and almost always exquisite. Mountain View Gardens lived up to it’s name and it was nothing less than stunning! Not only was it the perfect place for a ceremony, but it was the perfect place to get ready as well. Here are some of my favorite shots from their big day!
Cowgirl boots instead of heels. A girl after my own heart.
I love this custom ring box!
Hillside Flower Girls did a fantastic job with Kathryn’s bouquet. It was absolutely stunning and smelled delicous!
The wind made for some dramatic shots. I find that clients can be worried when the wind is whipping but it adds a touch of drama to photos and you can never go wrong with that. (If you haven’t seen the inside out umbrella picture in my wedding gallery, go check it out! It’s perfection.)
The most impressive aspect of this wedding was the detail that went into this. It has the appearance of being touched by a professional planner and decorator. NOPE. This was all Kathryn. She made over 1000 of these little hearts to stick in the ground for decoration and to create an aisle for people to walk through. Simply amazing.
THIS RIGHT HERE! Did you know that when my clients do something like this, I gift them a float wrap? One of my biggest pet peeves is trying to shoot around people’s iPhones and iPads. I’ve had to politely ask people to step out of the aisle during the ceremony so the bride and groom could see each other. It gets bad folks. A lot of people wouldn’t think to worry about this kind of thing but Kathryn and Dominic covered all bases.
You know you’re special when you’ve been named “Chief Bridesmaid”. I love this!
Getting ready was a blast. Not only are Kathryn and Dominic two of the kindest people I’ve ever met, but they are also hilarious. They had me cracking up frequently through out the day. I love being able to catch ones personality in a photo.
Dominic got ready upstairs and began the whole process with opening up some gifts from his bride to be. These images were captured by my amazing assistant and second photographer, Brittni Stasiuk.
