Lynsay + Will had a gorgeous summer wedding in Binghamton, NY that was full of surprises! I absolutely loved shooting this wedding as well as working with Lynsay, Will and their wonderful friends and family. These are some of my favorite shots from their wedding day!
Doing a first look with Dad is so special. Lynsay and her father, Mario, have such a tight bond and I loved being able to capture this moment for them. Admittedly, I was tearing up right along with them. Beautiful moments like this are what make being a photographer so rewarding! Lynsay and Will were married at St. Patrick’s church by Father Putano.
Did I mention that it was a scorcher?
One of the surprises for Lynsay and Will’s wedding was a horse drawn carriage ride gifted to them by Lynsay’s father. I was so excited when Mario contacted me and told me about what he was planning. The look on Lynsay’s face is priceless. I don’t think you can get a better send off than this! This seriously cracks me up. He clearly thought the horses were stinky and this little girl was trying to fan the stink away from his face. I just can’t. It’s almost like her expression is saying “Stop being so extra.” These are the kind of photos that make me live for wedding photography. Pretty lighting and romance is great and all that but this kind of candid stuff? GOLD.
Now speaking of pretty lighting and romance!
I can’t get over how gorgeous she is!One of my most favorite shots from their wedding day. This about sums up Lynsay + Will’s personalities. The best part of taking Lynsay and Will’s wedding portraits was being able to capture their personalities. I love how playful they are with each other. I didn’t really need to prompt them to do anything because they made their own fun. They were a dream to photograph.
I love that sass! The reception was a gorgeous affair! The Binghamton Club did a beautiful job with Lynsay and Will’s wedding. The details were perfection. I always try to snap as many pictures as I can of the details at weddings. So much thought goes into it and it’s really the little things that make everything come together to create that classy, romantic vibe.I thought these favors were so cute!
The first official dance as husband and wife.
Kids at weddings. So cute!Dancing photos are so much fun to capture. One thing I know about Lynsay’s family is that they love to dance! I can say this because I’ve seen them get down at other weddings. They’re always first to the dance floor.Whoops!Round 2 worked out a bit better!Lynsay and her dad have such an incredible bond. Not only did they have the traditional “father daughter” dance but Lynsay played a special song later on in the night that they danced to as well. Mario really went above and beyond to make her wedding day special and I think it’s the sweetest that she wanted to make it special for him too. I loved spending this day with Lynsay and Will as well as their friends and family. Their day was incredible and I have to give a special shoutout to my fellow vendors who helped make their day so special.
